Nature Explorers loves having older campers join our camps and programs. They bring so much to the experience they’re kind, funny, patient, and wonderful role models for our younger campers.
At the same time, we’ve realized that our preteens/teens (11–14 year olds) deserve some time that’s just for them. So, once a month, we’re creating a program specifically for this age group.
Our goal is to give these young people our full attention while sharing the two decades of outdoor knowledge we’ve gathered along the way. Just as importantly, we want to give them room to be themselves, make friends their own age, take healthy risks, build confidence, and enjoy being outside. Inspired by the medieval foresters who knew and cared for their lands, this program invites participants to move beyond simply exploring nature and start building a lifelong, lasting relationship with it!
*Hot Chocolate and hand warrmers provided.
Drop off 8:45-9:00am, Pick up 5:00-5:15pm
